Reading List #2
Putting together different things for paid subscribers, one feature will be varieties of reading lists. Texts I’ve found insightful or provocative.
I do not take any of these texts at face-value, and sometimes the most interesting texts are the ones you partially disagree with. So here are five texts I’ve found interesting.
Ellul’s Meaning Of The City
Jacques Ellul is bit of a strange hit-or-miss writer, but always highly memorable. This text approaches the subject of cybernetics (though by another name) starting with the story of Cain and Abel. Fascinating biblical exegesis looking at The City as an archetypal subject.
